An excellent Lions-Rotary dinner last night at the Senior Centre Orangeville & District. Thanks to The Toronto Star reporter, Kevin Donovan, for the fascinating talk on the Sherman investigation, Lions Club International's incoming president, A.P. Singh, who had just flown in from Kolkata! And Orangeville's own Aislinn Mann, who spoke to us about her experience at Rotary's Adventure in Citizenship in Ottawa and how hope for the future knits us together as Canadians.
It was our GREAT pleasure to present $3,000 cheques to the Rotary Community Choice Grant winners yesterday. High winds and frosty weather couldn't keep us away. Thank you to these non-profits for their spirit and service, and to everyone who voted for them.
